This 1914 D is a lower mintage coin in the Indian Head Quarter Eagle Series. With fewer than 100 coins in this grade bearing a CAC sticker, they will always be sought after for completing a Quarter Eagle set, especially since the next grade is nearly double the price!
The coin is smooth on both sides with no copper spots or haze, and no major abrasions or hits. There are just a few grade-limiting ticks that really require a glass to spot. The grade is mainly limited by a few luster breaks, and with a bit more luster, this coin could easily make it into an MS63 holder.
